ANALYSIS OF THE WORK FROM HOME (WFH) POLICY ON THE QUALITY OF PUBLIC SERVICE DELIVERY AT THE ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY OF MALANG

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze work from home (WFH) policy management in providing services for students and lecturers during the pandemic season. Research method The approach used in this research is qualitative. The results showed that the division of working hours in the application of 50% WFH and 50% WFO within the Unisma Malang environment could be implemented properly, provided that the schedule distribution was fair. Employees or lecturers who get a WFO schedule must comply with applicable rules such as: 1) using double masks and face shields, 2) washing hands and hand sanitizer before entering the office, 3) checking body temperature, if the body temperature is above 37 degrees, then must report to the medical team for a PCR test, 4) always keep a distance of 1 meter while working. The form of application of online services is by implementing an online public service system by utilizing technology such as WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet, Youtube, website, Installgram. The use of online presence that is applied in the Islamic University of Malang is to make it easier for lecturers and employees to attend both during WFH and WFO. The implementation of public services at the Islamic University of Malang during the pandemic has been going well.
