Komuniti Pembelajaran Profesional: Satu Kajian Perbandingan Antara Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Harian Biasa dan Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Anugerah Cemerlang 2007

Abstract


Artikel ini membicarakan tentang konsep Komuniti Pembelajaran Profesional (KPP) di sekolah menengah kebangsaan harian di Malaysia. Konsep KPP ini wujud apabila berlakunya penerapan budaya belajar secara berterusan dalam setiap ahli komuniti sekolah yang terdiri daripada pengetua, barisan pemimpin kedua dan guru-guru di sekolah. Kajian dijalankan di 43 buah sekolah menengah harian di Malaysia. Seramai 585 responden iaitu 41 pengetua, 321 pemimpin barisan kedua dan 172 guru serta kaunselor. Pengkaji telah menggunakan soal selidik yang dibentuk berdasarkan kerangka kerja KPP yang digariskan oleh Hord (1997) dan telah diubahsuai oleh Huffman dan Hipp (2003). Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa secara keseluruhannya sekolah menengah di Malaysia telah mengamalkan konsep KPP pada tahap kekerapan min yang sangat tinggi. Pengamalan amalan KPP ini juga menunjukkan komitmen guru terhadap pelaksanaan program dan aktiviti penambahbaikan sekolah terutama dalam meningkatkan prestasi murid.
