ANALISIS PERBEDAAN GAYA BERPIKIR MAHASISWA MENGGUNAKAN YAN-PIAW CRITICAL-CREATIVE THINKING STYLE TEST

Abstract


Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan perbedaan gaya berpikir mahasiswa berdasarkan perbedaan angkatan mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah noneksperimental design yang diberikan kepada 194 mahasiswa PGSD Tahun 2019-2022 pada salah satu Universitas yang ada di Yogyakarta. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Yan-Piaw Critical-Creative Thinking Style Test yang telah memenuhi nilai validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa gaya berpikir mahasiswa prodi PGSD pada setiap angkatan memiliki gaya berpikir seimbang, meskipun demikian pada setiap angkatan dari Tahun 2019 sampai dengan angkatan Tahun 2022 memiliki perbedaan signifikan. Perbedaan signifikan terletak antara mahasiswa angkatan 2019 dengan angkatan 2020 (p=-0,0005), dan angkatan 2019 dengan angkatan 2021 (p=-0,0434). Penelitian lanjutan harus menentukan metode belajar yang efektif berdasarkan perbedaan gaya berpikir mahasiswa.
