PENINGKATAN PENDEKATAN KONTRUKTIVISME TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

Abstract


The background of this collaborative classroom action research (PTKK) is the low learning outcomes of students in mathematics learning in Class IA SDN 032 Tilil. This can be seen from the results of the pre-test and interviews with classroom teachers that have been conducted, which have not shown a significant increase in learning outcomes. Efforts were made to overcome this; researchers applied a constructivism approach with various learning models to learning mathematics. The purpose of PTKK is to improve student learning outcomes through learning, evaluating, and following up on previous learning outcomes. PTKK is carried out through three cycles; in each cycle, there are four main activities: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The number of research subjects was 29 (twenty-nine) students, namely all of class IA SDN 032 Tilil. The results of the first cycle of PTKK showed an increase of 67%; the results of the second cycle of PTKK were 75%; and the results of the third cycle of PTKK were 80%. The conclusion of this research shows that the constructivism approach can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics
