Abstract


This research aims to increase the interest and the learning result of Class 2E students in muthala'ah through the application of video learning media based on multimedia at the Wali Songo Ngabar Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School in the 2023-2024 academic year. This research used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. To obtain the necessary data, the researcher collected the data using structured observation techniques, tests, interviews, documentation, and specific parameters for analyzing the data. The results of this research showed that the application of video learning media based on multimedia was successful in increasing the interest and the learning result of class 2E students of Wali Songo Ngabar Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School. The revealed result came from the student learning interest score in the first cycle, which reached 70% and increased to 82% in the second cycle. The result of the student learning score in the first cycle was 4.93, which increased to 6.37 in the second cycle. Based on the result of the implementation of video learning media, it is hoped that it can be a reference for teachers always to apply and develop learning media to achieve the desired learning objectives.
