Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TGT dengan Media Bingo terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah di SDN Jatiwaringin VI

Abstract


Effective mathematics learning can improve students' problem-solving skills. This study aims to determine the effect of the TGT-type cooperative learning model assisted by Bingo media on improving students' problem-solving abilities on fractional material in the fifth grade of SDN Jatiwaringin VI. This study used quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental research design in the form of a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample amounted to 80 students consisting of 40 experimental class students and 40 control class students. Data collection is carried out using tests. Data analysis using t-test and N-Gain test. The results showed that there was a difference in the average value of students' problem-solving ability between the experimental class and the control class. The average value of the problem-solving ability of experimental class students was 60.76 which was higher than the average value of the problem-solving ability of control class students of 47.89. The experimental class N-Gain value of 0.39 belongs to the medium category, while the control class N-Gain value of 0.23 belongs to the low category. Based on the results of the study, the TGT-type cooperative learning model assisted by Bingo media can improve students' problem-solving abilities on fractional material in the fifth grade of SDN Jatiwaringin VI.
