Analisis Kebutuhan Instrumen Penilaian Numerasi Berbasis Digital Pada Fase B Akhir Sekolah Dasar

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the need to develop digital-based numeracy assessment instruments for primary school students in the final B phase in order to face the Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA). The background of this research is based on the low numeracy achievement of students which is still classified as moderate nationally, as well as the limitations of basic education units in providing standardized and validated numeracy assessment instruments. The research used a developmental method with Tessmer's Formative Research approach and focused on the initial stages, namely preliminary and self-evaluation in the form of document analysis, needs analysis, curriculum analysis, and question instrument analysis. The participants of this study were students and teachers of fourth grade and principals of elementary schools. The results of document analysis and teacher and student needs surveys showed the importance of developing numeracy instruments. Analysis of grade IV elementary school numeracy materials showed the need for digital media in numeracy assessment. The results showed that the use of digital media such as Wordwall as a numeracy assessment instrument is not only relevant but also necessary to improve the quality of numeracy learning as well as students' readiness for computer-based assessments. These findings provide an important basis for the development of more effective and engaging numeracy assessment instruments for the end of the B phase students in the Merdeka Curriculum.
