Model Implementasi Program Perilaku Positif dalam Pembentukan Karakter Siswa: Studi Multisitus pada Sekolah Dasar

Abstract


The character programs implementation is often hindered by the lack of measurable indicators and integration with management, leading to variations in students' character development. This research aims to analyse the implementation of the Positive Behaviour Program in students’ character formation by examining its content and context, as well as its relation to the development of moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. This qualitative research uses a multisite case study design at SDN Sumberkembar and SDN Kalikatir. Collected the data through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document studies, and then analysed using single-site and cross-site analysis techniques. Data validity was ensured through triangulation, member checks, dependability audits, and confirmability. The research results show that the clarity of the program structure determines the program's success, as do the principal's leadership, the collective involvement of teachers, the behaviour-reinforcement system, and the integration of the program into the school culture. Schools with a systematic program show more comprehensive student character development than schools with individual practices. This research introduces a positive behaviour program model that integrates a policy implementation perspective with character education to explain the relationship between managerial processes and the comprehensive outcomes of student character formation. The research implies the importance of strengthening leadership, developing data-based character indicators, and institutionalising programs to realise a value-based school culture.
