ISLAMIC SCHOOL-BASED MANAGEMENT MELALUI PEMBIASAAN KEAGAMAAN UNTUK PENGUATAN MUTU DAN KARAKTER SISWA MADRASAH

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic School-Based Management (ISBM), focusing on the role of religious habituation as a strategy to enhance educational quality and student character at MTs Al-Munawaroh Plered, Purwakarta. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven informants (the madrasa principal, madrasa committee member, deputy principal for curriculum, deputy principal for public relations, a teacher, and three students). Participant observation and document analysis were also conducted to strengthen data validity. Data analysis utilized thematic analysis, yielding four explicit themes: (1) Religious Habituation as the Core of ISBM Implementation, (2) Islamic Character Building through Religious Habituation, (3) Madrasa-Islamic Boarding School Collaboration, and (4) Evaluation and Impact on Educational Quality. The program is implemented consistently, supported by participatory planning, collaboration with Islamic boarding schools, and periodic evaluation. These findings contribute theoretically to the development of ISBM models within madrasas.

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Islamic School-Based Management (ISBM) dengan fokus pada peran pembiasaan keagamaan sebagai strategi meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan karakter siswa di MTs Al-Munawaroh Plered Purwakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 7 orang informan (kepala madrasah, komite madrasah, wakil kepala bidang kurikulum, wakil kepala humas, serta guru dan 3 siswa). Observasi partisipan dan studi dokumentasi juga dilakukan untuk memperkuat validitas data. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik thematic analysis, menghasilkan 4 tema utama secara eksplisit: (1) Pembiasaan Keagamaan sebagai Inti Pelaksanaan ISBM, (2) Pembentukan Karakter Islami melalui Pembiasaan Keagamaan, (3) Kolaborasi Madrasah-Pondok, dan (4) Evaluasi serta Dampak terhadap Mutu Pendidikan. Program ini dilakukan secara konsisten, didukung perencanaan partisipatif, kolaborasi dengan pondok pesantren, serta evaluasi berkala. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis bagi pengembangan model ISBM di madrasah.
