PENGEMBANGAN E-MODUL PEMBUATAN DESAIN RAGAM HIAS PADA POLA BUSANA MENGGUNAKAN CORELDRAW PADA MATA KULIAH APLIKASI KOMPUTER BUSANA
Abstract
This study aims to develop an interactive flipbook e-module on creating decorative patterns for fashion designs using CorelDRAW for the Fashion Computer Applications course, Department of Family Welfare, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, Padang State University. The study employed Thiagarajan’s 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The product’s content validity was assessed by two subject matter experts and one media expert using a 1-5 Likert scale, analyzed using Aiken’s V formula, while its practicality was evaluated through a questionnaire administered to 19 students using a 1-4 Likert scale, analyzed using percentage calculations. The results of the subject-matter expert validation yielded an average Aiken’s V of 0.86875 (highly valid), and the media expert validation yielded 0.9625 (highly valid) after revisions. The practicality test yielded an overall percentage of 89.34% (highly practical), covering ease of use (89.21%), visual appeal (91.32%), usefulness (89.74%), and self-directed learning (87.11%). In the Disseminate stage, the practical assessment of 13 students (out of 19 who submitted the practice assignment) yielded an average overall score of 86.55 with an A grade, covering pattern alignment (87.61), line-drawing techniques (86.69), coloring (85.38), and overall neatness of the results (86.53). The novelty of this study lies in the integration of Dressmaking basic pattern construction, blouse pattern grading, and decorative design application into a single CorelDRAW-based interactive flipbook e-module, which has not been previously developed within the Fashion Design Education program at Padang State University. The use of this e-module has implications for enhancing students' self-directed learning in software-based design courses and may serve as a reference for developing integrated digital learning media in vocational fashion education.
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-modul flipbook interaktif pembuatan desain ragam hias pada pola busana menggunakan CorelDRAW pada Mata Kuliah Aplikasi Komputer Busana, Departemen Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga, Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan, Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan 4D Thiagarajan (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Validitas produk dinilai oleh dua ahli materi dan satu ahli media menggunakan skala Likert 1-5 yang dianalisis dengan formula Aiken's V, sedangkan praktikalitas dinilai melalui angket kepada 19 mahasiswa menggunakan skala Likert 1-4 yang dianalisis dengan teknik persentase. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata Aiken's V sebesar 0,86875 (sangat valid), dan validasi ahli media sebesar 0,9625 (sangat valid) setelah revisi. Uji praktikalitas memperoleh persentase keseluruhan 89,34% (sangat praktis), mencakup kemudahan penggunaan (89,21%), daya tarik tampilan (91,32%), kebermanfaatan (89,74%), dan kemandirian belajar (87,11%). Pada tahap Disseminate, penilaian praktik terhadap 13 dari 19 mahasiswa yang mengumpulkan tugas praktik memperoleh rata-rata nilai keseluruhan 86,55 dengan kategori A, mencakup kesesuaian motif (87,61), teknik pembuatan garis (86,69), pewarnaan (85,38), dan kerapian hasil keseluruhan (86,53). Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi pembuatan pola dasar sistem Dressmaking, pecah pola blus, dan penerapan desain ragam hias dalam satu e-modul flipbook interaktif berbasis CorelDRAW yang belum pernah dikembangkan sebelumnya di lingkungan Program Studi S1 Tata Busana Departemen IKK FPP UNP. Penggunaan e-modul ini berimplikasi pada peningkatan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah berbasis perangkat lunak desain, serta dapat menjadi rujukan pengembangan media pembelajaran digital terintegrasi pada pendidikan vokasi tata busana.
