DESAIN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF PADA MATERI GERHANA UNTUK SISWA SMP

Abstract


This study aims to develop Articulate Storyline-based interactive multimedia for eclipse topic in junior high school science. The research employed the Design and Development (D&D) method with literature review approach to analyze design requirements, develop the multimedia, and evaluate its validity. The results indicate that (1) the literature review highlights the need for learning media capable of visualizing eclipse concepts interactively, (2) The Articulate Storyline-based interactive multimedia was successfully developed through a systematic process consisting of needs analysis, the development of the GBPM, storyboard design, and RPP preparation, while integrating learning materials, animations, instructional videos, interactive quizzes, and educational games, and (3) validation by  subject matter, media, and curriculum experts showed that developed product met validity criteria, ranging from valid to highly valid, confirming its feasibility for use on eclipse topics for junior high school students.

 

Penelitian ini mengembangkan multimedia interaktif Articulate Storyline untuk pembelajaran materi gerhana di SMP. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan desain, melaksanakan proses perancangan dan pengembangan multimedia interaktif serta mengetahui hasil validasi ahli terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Penelitian menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kajian literatur mengindikasikan perlunya media pembelajaran yang mampu memvisualisasikan konsep gerhana secara interaktif, (2) multimedia interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline berhasil dikembangkan melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan GBPM, Storyboard, penyusunan RPP, serta mengintegrasikan materi pelajaran, animasi, video, latihan soal interaktif, dan permainan edukatif, dan (3) hasil validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli kurikulum menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan berada pada kategori valid hingga sangat valid sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi macam-macam gerhana untuk siswa SMP.
