Regulasi Diri dan Prokrastinasi Akademik: Studi Kuantitatif di Kalangan Siswa SMK

Abstract
This study aims to examine the relationship between self-regulation and academic procrastination behavior among 10th-grade students. The study population consists of all 10th-grade students, using total sampling technique. The research method is quantitative, with data collection through self-regulation and academic procrastination scales in the form of Likert scales. Data analysis using SPSS version 27 with Product Moment Correlation technique shows a significance value indicating a negative relationship between self-regulation and academic procrastination behavior, with a coefficient of determination of 32.4%. Self-regulation is categorized as low, while academic procrastination behavior is categorized as high. These results support the hypothesis that good self-regulation can reduce academic procrastination behavior.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara regulasi diri dan perilaku prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa kelas X. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari seluruh siswa kelas X, menggunakan teknik total sampling. Metode penelitian bersifat kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui skala regulasi diri dan prokrastinasi akademik yang berbentuk skala Likert. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 27 dengan teknik Korelasi Product Moment menunjukkan nilai signifikansi yang mengindikasikan adanya hubungan negatif antara regulasi diri dan perilaku prokrastinasi akademik, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 32,4%. Regulasi diri dikategorikan rendah, sedangkan perilaku prokrastinasi akademik dikategorikan tinggi. Hasil ini mendukung hipotesis bahwa regulasi diri yang baik dapat mengurangi perilaku prokrastinasi akademik.
