Pengaruh Big Data Analytics dan Financial Constraints terhadap Firm Risk

Abstract


Perkembangan era digital mendorong peningkatan volume data dan memperkuat peran Big Data Analytics (BDA) dalam pengambilan keputusan perusahaan. BDA dinilai mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, akurasi prediksi, dan pengelolaan risiko, namun juga berpotensi meningkatkan firm risk akibat kompleksitas data, information overload, dan ketidakpastian bisnis. Selain itu, financial constraints dapat membatasi kemampuan perusahaan dalam melakukan investasi teknologi dan mitigasi risiko. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh Big Data Analytics dan financial constraints terhadap firm risk pada perusahaan sektor barang konsumen primer yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2020–2024. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Data penelitian dikategorikan sebagai unbalanced panel karena jumlah observasi tidak sama pada setiap tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Big Data Analytics tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap firm risk, sedangkan financial constraints berpengaruh positif terhadap firm risk. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperluas literatur mengenai Big Data Analytics dan risiko perusahaan pada konteks negara berkembang, khususnya Indonesia.
