Pengaruh Career Adaptability terhadap Work Engagement dengan Perceived Organizational Support sebagai variabel mediasi pada karyawan PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divisi Regional II Sumatera Barat

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh career adaptability terhadap work engagement dengan perceived organizational support sebagai variabel mediasi pada karyawan PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divisi Regional II Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 91 responden dan dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa career adaptability berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perceived organizational support, namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap work engagement. Selain itu, perceived organizational support juga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap work engagement serta tidak mampu memediasi hubungan antara career adaptability dan work engagement. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan adaptasi karier mampu meningkatkan persepsi karyawan terhadap dukungan organisasi, namun belum mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan kerja secara langsung maupun melalui perceived organizational support. Kondisi tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa work engagement karyawan PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divisi Regional II Sumatera Barat lebih dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain di luar model penelitian.
