Abstract


Kesiapan kerja menjadi salah satu aspek penting yang menentukan keberhasilan lulusan perguruan tinggi dalam memasuki dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh self efficacy dan perencanaan karier terhadap kesiapan kerja dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Program Studi Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif kausal. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 152 responden dan dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self efficacy, perencanaan karier, dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja. Selain itu, self efficacy dan perencanaan karier juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Motivasi kerja terbukti memediasi secara parsial pengaruh self efficacy dan perencanaan karier terhadap kesiapan kerja. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa perlu didukung oleh keyakinan terhadap kemampuan diri, perencanaan karier yang matang, serta motivasi kerja yang kuat agar lulusan lebih siap menghadapi tuntutan dunia kerja.
