Pengaruh Internship Experience dan Soft Skills terhadap Work Readiness Mahasiswa dengan Self-Efficacy sebagai Variabel Mediasi

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh internship experience dan soft skills terhadap work readiness dengan self-efficacy sebagai variabel mediasi pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Padang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Padang yang telah mengikuti program magang atau memiliki pengalaman internship. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 160 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara daring menggunakan Google Form. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan SmartPLS 4.1.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) internship experience berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work readiness; (2) soft skills berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work readiness; (3) internship experience berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap self-efficacy; (4) soft skills berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap self-efficacy; (5) self-efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work readiness; (6) self-efficacy mampu memediasi secara parsial pengaruh internship experience terhadap work readiness; dan (7) self-efficacy mampu memediasi secara parsial pengaruh soft skills terhadap work readiness.
