PENGARUH PEER SUPPORT TERHADAP CAREER ADAPTABILITY MAHASISWA TINGKAT AKHIR FAKULTAS EKONOMI DAN BISNIS UNP DENGAN CAREER DECISION SELF EFFICACY SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIASI

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat peer support, career decision self-efficacy, dan career adaptability pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 responden yang terdiri dari mahasiswa angkatan 2021 dan 2022 dari empat program studi, yaitu Pendidikan Ekonomi, Manajemen, Akuntansi, dan Ekonomi Pembangunan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan selama 6–14 Oktober 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel peer support berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 4,321 (86,43%), variabel career decision self-efficacy juga tergolong tinggi dengan rata-rata 4,467 (89,34%), dan variabel career adaptability berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata 4,589 (91,78%). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa mahasiswa tingkat akhir FEB UNP memiliki dukungan sosial sebaya yang baik, keyakinan diri yang kuat dalam pengambilan keputusan karier, serta kemampuan adaptasi karier yang tinggi dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja.
