Pengaruh Big Data Analytics (BDA) dan Merger and Acquasition (M&A) Intensity terhadap Firm Risk

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Big Data Analytics (BDA) dan Merger and Acquasition (M&A) Intensity terhadap Firm Risk. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berbasis data panel (time-series cross-sectional) dengan data sekunder berupa laporan tahunan dan data harga saham seluruh sektor perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2020-2024, dengan teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh 120 observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi panel dengan Common Effect Model (CEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak Eviews 12. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Big Data Analytics berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap firm risk. Selain itu, Merger and Acquasition (M&A) Intensity juga berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap firm risk. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa baik pemanfaatan Big Data Analytics maupun aktivitas M&A dapat berkontribusi dalam menurunkan tingkat risiko perusahaan
