Author Guidelines

  1. The article should come from the sphere of educational administration research. It must be written in Microsoft Word, Calibri, 12 pts, with single space, printed in A4 paper with at least 5.000 (five thousand) words . The manuscript must be sent as printed and Soft Copy version.
  2. The article must be written in Bahasa. It should be compile as followed: title , name of the author/s, abstract completed with keywords , introduction, method, result, conclusion, and references.
  3. The title are written in Bahasa or English. The title must not exceed 14 words, while for English version; 12. Title must be written in capital-center-14pts.
  4. The name of the author/s must be written without any academic titles, with affiliate, and are placed beneath the title of the article. When there are more than one authors, JAP editor will only get in touch with the main author, the one whose name is written first.
  5. This article is compiled by 6 (six) parts: abstract completed with keywords, introduction, method, result, conclusion, and references.
    1. Abstract and its keywords are written in English. The lenght of this abstract should be between 100-200 words counts completed with 3-5 keywords written with alphabetical order. At least, abstract must contain title, purpose, method, discussion and conclussion. 
    2. Introduction covers background of the study, research context, literature review, and purpose of the study. This parts allowed to have 15-20% portion of the whole manuscript.
    3. Methods consist of description related to research model, data, technique of data collection and analysis. This part is allowed to take 10-15% portion of the whole manuscript.
    4. The result covers description of the analysis result in accordance with research questions. Every finding is a subject to be explained. It is allowed to take 40-60% of whole manuscript.
    5. Conclusion contains research findings in the form of answers upon the research questions. It is the short explanation of the whole findings.
    6. References only contains referenced sources and 80% of it must be compiled by last five year publications. It should contains primer data sources like journal articels, or research reports (including bachelor and master thesis, and dissertation).
  6.  The citation uses bracket technique (last name, year). If it is a direct quote, example: (Santoso, 2014).
  7. Tabel title, graphic, and figure are written in Bahasa
  8. Reference should be written in accordance with scientific methods.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

  2. The submission file is in Open Office, Microsoft Word, RTF, or Word Perfect document file format.

  3. The article is a research report within the sphere of educational administration.

  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.

  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
