Desain Didaktis pada Materi Pecahan dan Pengaruhnya terhadap Kemampuan Problem Solving
Abstract
Problem Solving is important to teach because it is hoped that it can provide students with the skills to solve problems both theoretically and practically in everyday life, one of which is in learning mathematics because every human activity is always related to mathematics. This article will discuss the influence of didactic design in fraction material on students' problem-solving abilities at the State Elementary School of Sepang for the 2021-2022 academic year. Based on this, this paper was written to find out the effect of didactic design on fraction material on elementary school students' problem-solving abilities. The method used is quantitative with experimental techniques in the form of a quasi-experimental design which is analyzed using SPSS 21 for Windows. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that after the learning method using didactic design on fraction material was applied, students' problem-solving abilities improved, although in the moderate category after applying the learning method using didactic design on fraction material. This can be seen from the increase in the average experimental class posttest results of 61.354 from the average experimental class pretest results of 27.917. Meanwhile, the average N-gain score for the experimental class was 0.4641, which is categorized as moderate. The results of hypothesis testing using the paired sample t-test, the influence of didactic design on fraction material on students' problem-solving abilities that there is a significant influence because based on the SPSS output, the Sig- (2-tailed) value is 0.000 < 0.05.
