Membangun Imajinasi Kesejarahan melalui Keterampilan Menulis Berbasis Aplikasi Heyzine Flipbook
Abstract
Active student involvement in reconstructing and retelling historical events, gives students space to explore every detail of an event so that students will find the values contained therein. History without imagination will feel stiff and boring. The ability to imagine history can be trained through creative writing skills. In learning, creative writing is the process of pouring out ideas and thoughts in writing in a different way. Different from existing works, different from the usual. Therefore, creativity can occur anywhere, including in writing activities. This creative writing development skill can be supported by technological developments that are closely related to the characteristics of today's students through various applications such as heyzine flipbook, webtoon, Trello, TWords, and so on. Experimental research through the application of writing skills based on the heyzine flipbook application is directed at developing students' historical imagination skills in history learning. The experiment was conducted in a time series with three actions with the research location at SMA Negeri 1 Padalarang. The results of this study indicate that students' imagination skills can be developed through the habit of creative writing by utilizing the heyzine flipbook application. The indicators of historical imagination ability developed in this study are identifying facts about an event, inserting information related to an event, placing oneself as a historical actor and being skilled at abstract thinking.
