HISTORIA: Jurnal Pendidik dan Peneliti Sejarah is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Department of History Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). First published on June 15, 2000, the journal was originally titled Historia: Jurnal Pendidikan Sejarah.

In June 2009, the journal was renamed Historia: International Journal of History Education. In 2017, it adopted its current title, HISTORIA: Jurnal Pendidik dan Peneliti Sejarah, reflecting its commitment to advancing scholarly research in both history and history education. Following this change, the journal began a new volume numbering sequence with Volume 1, Issue 1, alongside changes to its print and electronic ISSNs.

HISTORIA is published biannually, with issues released on April 30 and October 31. The journal is published in collaboration with the Association of History Educators and Researchers. The journal welcomes original research articles that contribute to historical scholarship, history education, historical thinking, historiography, and related interdisciplinary fields. It aims to promote rigorous historical inquiry, critical analysis, and scholarly dialogue among researchers, educators, and practitioners.

HISTORIA employs a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the academic quality and integrity of published articles. Manuscripts are evaluated by qualified reviewers, and final editorial decisions are made by the editorial board based on the reviewers' recommendations and the journal's editorial standards. Authors are informed of editorial decisions, including the reasons for rejection when applicable.
