THE ROLE OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION IN DEALING WITH PROMISCUITY AMONG ADOLESCENTS

Abstract

This research was conducted in the Pabelan boarding house with the phenomenon of free association among teenagers in the Pabelan boarding house through small things, alcohol, dating, pornography and free sex. The influence of media, friends. Islamic education provides moral values to teenagers who fall into free association with a strong moral foundation these teenagers are able to stay away from free association behavior. This research uses a qualitative approach with an approach through direct observation with informants and interviews and to determine the role of Islamic education in dealing with free association in the Pabelan boarding house in order to fortify teenagers from the evils of free association. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to provide an overview of free association among teenagers and the negative things caused by free association. As well as the role of Islamic education in addressing this problem. There are significant negative impacts on their lives. First, there is a decline in morals and ethics, where teenagers begin to show behavior that deviates from social and religious norms. Islamic education has been proven to play a strategic role in shaping strong morals and personalities in teenagers. Therefore, Islamic education needs to be strengthened with an approach that is appropriate to the challenges of the times.
