Coaching Program of Homeroom teacher at SMPIT Nurul Fikri Boarding School Bogor

Abstract


The aims of this study are: (1) to find out the forms and techniques of the homeroom teachers training program at SMPIT Nurul Fikri Bogor, (2) to find out the impact of class teacher coaching program for student development at SMPIT Nurul Fikri Bogor. This research's informants are the homeroom coordinator's principal and homeroom teacher. By using qualitative method, this study concluded: (1) the form of the homeroom coaching program for SMPIT Nurul Fikri Bogor is homeroom teachers are supported by programs creating discussion groups with parents and students to discuss: how can homeroom teachers establish good relationships with class teachers, upgrading the homeroom teacher where homeroom teachers with the school principal, the homeroom coordinator carries out an evaluation or in other words, in this activity all homeroom teachers inform the progress of their students, class welcome drink (2) with the implementation of the homeroom coaching program, the program has a positive impact on student development seen from increasing student learning motivation, independence and emotional development of students the good one.
