Pengaruh Professional Identity terhadap Learning Engagement dengan Self-Efficacy sebagai Variabel Mediasi Pada Mahasiswa Manajemen

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh professional identity terhadap learning engagement serta menguji peran self-efficacy sebagai variabel mediasi pada mahasiswa Manajemen Universitas Negeri Padang. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, data dikumpulkan dari 107 responden mahasiswa melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) professional identityberpengaruh langsung secara signifikan terhadap learning engagement, (2) professional identity berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap self-efficacy, (3) self-efficacyberpengaruh positif serta signifikan terhadap learning engagement dan (4) pengaruh tidak langsung professional identity terhadap learning engagement melalui self-efficacy terbukti positif dan signifikan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa self-efficacy berperan sebagai mediator parsial (partial mediation) dalam hubungan antaraprofessional identity danlearning engagement.
