Pengaruh Kohesivitas Kelompok terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior pada Karyawan Hotel Berbintang di Kota Padang

Abstract


Studi ini mengkaji pengaruh kohesivitas kelompok terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) pada karyawan hotel berbintang di kota Padang. Tuntutan kerja pada industri perhotelan yang tinggi dan menekan membuat karyawan rentan merasa kewalahan. Hal tersebut membuat karyawan cenderung hanya fokus pada tugas utamanya dan menghindari pekerjaan tambahan. Memiliki lingkungan kerja dengan kelompok yang kohesif diharapkan dapat membuat munculnya perilaku organizational citizenship behavior pada karyawan karena kelompok yang kohesif identik dengan orang-orang yang merasa saling bergantung satu sama lainnya. Penelitian kuantitatif korelasional ini melibatkan 72 karyawan hotel berbintang 4 di kota Padang yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil uji regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan dari kohesivitas kelompok terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (p=0,000; t=3,922). Nilai koefisien determinasi 0,180 menunjukkan kontribusi kohesivitas kelompok dalam memprediksi organizational citizenship behavior  sebesar 18%. Selanjutnya, nilai koefisien regresi 0,599 menunjukkan bahwa setiap kenaikan kohesivitas kelompok sebesar satu satuan akan meningkatkan skor organizational citizenship behavior sebesar 0,599. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa tingginya kohesivitas kelompok berperan dalam meningkatnya organizational citizenship behavior pada karyawan hotel berbintang di kota Padang.
