Ethical Leadersip, Teacher Capacity Building dan Budaya Sekolah dalam Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter

Abstract


Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran ethical leadership, teacher capacity building dan school culture dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mixed method sequential expalanatory survey terhadap Sekolah Menengah Pertama swasta di Jawa Barat yang dikenal sebagai Sekolah Boarding School berjumlah 252. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan SEM berbasis Co-variant. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepemimpinan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama berbasis boarding school terbentuk dengan adanya kesadaran pimpinan terhadap nilai-nilai etika. Guru belum sepenuhnya siap menerima proses pembelajaran yang berbasis daring dan sistem pembatasan interaksi ditinjau dari upaya untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dalam sistem pembelajaran di boarding school. Nilai-nilai budaya yang dikembangkan antara lain kearifan lokal, orientasi pada ilmu pengetahuan dan teologis. Keberhasilan implementasi pendidikan karakter tergantung pada kemampuan, capability serta kontribusi individu dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan karakter. Ethical leadership, teacher capacity building dan school culture memiliki peran signifikan terhadap efektivitas penyelenggaraan pendidikan karakter.
