Abstract

This research undertakes a linguistic analysis of the variations in Arabic expressions showcased on the @arabiyahtalks account and examines user responses to these expressions. The primary objectives are to identify and categorize the forms of Arabic language expression in the digital sphere, classify them based on a stimulus–response framework, and evaluate their evolution within social media communication culture. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis, this study investigates five selected video reels from 2023, utilizing Skinner's theory of behaviorism as its theoretical framework. The findings indicate the presence of multimodal stimuli—encompassing linguistic, visual, auditory, and social elements—that elicit diverse responses, including reproductive, affective, interactive, and creative reactions. The synergistic interplay of these stimuli plays a crucial role in strengthening linguistic engagement and dynamically expanding the reach of Arabic language variations within the digital ecosystem, fostering social and contextual learning.
