KUALITAS PENGASUHAN UNTUK DUKUNGAN PENDIDIKAN SEKOLAH DASAR KELAS BAWAH DI PANTI ASUHAN

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas pengasuhan untuk dukungan pendidikan sekolah dasar kelas bawah di panti asuhan beserta intervensi yang perlu dilakukan. Metode yang digunakan pada artikel ini adalah studi literatur untuk persiapan awal dalam menyusun kerangka penelitian. Ditemukan dari beberapa kajian literatur sebelumnya bahwa anak-anak dalam perawatan panti asuhan memiliki hasil pendidikan yang secara sistematis lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan anak-anak non-yatim. Anak yang berada dalam perawatan panti asuhan cenderung mengalami permasalahan pada hampir di semua bidang perkembangan seperti; perkembangan sosial dan interpersonal yang terganggu, pertumbuhan fisik terhambat, bahkan perkembangan kognitif dan bahasa tertunda. Beberapa komponen yang diprediksi dapat mengurangi risiko hambatan perkembangan tersebut diantaranya; keseimbangan makanan yang bergizi, kualitas tempat tinggal, kualitas pengasuhan (pendidikan dan pengalaman), serta akses ke layanan pendidikan dan kesehatan. Intervensi diantara pemangku kepentingan juga turut andil untuk dukungan pendidikan anak sekolah dasar kelas bawah di panti asuhan. Dengan demikian, anak-anak dapat memperoleh hak nya untuk mengenyam pendidikan yang setara dengan anak non yatim
