HISTORIA: Jurnal Pendidik dan Peneliti Sejarah is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Department of History Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Indonesia. The journal was first published on June 15, 2000, under its original title, Historia: Jurnal Pendidikan Sejarah.
In June 2009, the journal adopted the title Historia: International Journal of History Education, reflecting its commitment to advancing scholarly research and academic discourse in history education and historical studies.
In 2017, the journal was renamed HISTORIA: Jurnal Pendidik dan Peneliti Sejarah, marking a new phase in its development. This change was accompanied by adjustments to its print and electronic ISSN registrations and the introduction of a new volume numbering sequence, beginning with Volume 1, Issue 1, in 2017.
Throughout its development, HISTORIA has been published through collaboration among the Association of History Educators and Researchers, the Postgraduate Program in History Education, and the Department of History Education at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI).
Since 2017, HISTORIA has maintained a biannual publication schedule, with two issues published each year, in April and October. The journal continues to promote rigorous scholarly inquiry, critical historical analysis, and the dissemination of original research in history and history education.
