Abstract

Edupreneurship is an educational approach that integrates entrepreneurial principles into the learning process to prepare students with entrepreneurial knowledge, attitudes, and skills. This study aims to describe the level of edupreneurship among students of the Fishing Vessel Nautical Science (Nautika Kapal Penangkap Ikan/NKPI) competency program based on three dimensions: entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial attitude and interest, and entrepreneurial experience. This research applied a quantitative descriptive method with a survey approach, using a four-point Likert-scale questionnaire (Strongly Disagree–Strongly Agree) distributed to 63 students from classes XII NKPI 1 and XII NKPI 2. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean, standard deviation, and category distribution, complemented by correlation analysis among dimensions. The results indicate that students' overall edupreneurship score falls into the high category (M = 3.16 out of a maximum of 4). The entrepreneurial attitude and interest dimension obtained the highest score (M = 3.19), followed by entrepreneurial experience (M = 3.16) and entrepreneurial knowledge (M = 3.14). A total of 80.95% of students reported having run a business, mostly processed fishery products relevant to their field of expertise, with the school being the main source of entrepreneurial information for students (63.5%). The lowest-scoring aspects were the skill of calculating simple profit and loss and recording business finances, indicating the importance of strengthening financial literacy in school edupreneurship programs. These findings have implications for developing a competency-based entrepreneurship curriculum that gives greater emphasis to business financial management.
