The Strategic Role of Pancasila Education in Shaping the Nation's Character in the Mondial Era
Abstract
This research aims to explore the strategic role of Pancasila Education in shaping the nation's character in the era of mondialization which presents challenges in maintaining national values in the midst of globalization. The novelty of this research lies in the integrative analysis of various implementation strategies of Pancasila Education that are relevant to the dynamics of the digital and global era. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. This research analyzes various academic sources to understand the effectiveness of Pancasila Education in building national character. The results showed that Pancasila Education plays a role in instilling values such as mutual cooperation, tolerance, and nationalism as a moral fortress for the younger generation. However, the challenges of globalization, individualism, and weak innovation in learning are major obstacles in the internalization of Pancasila values. Therefore, strategies such as revitalizing the project-based curriculum, utilizing digital technology in learning, exemplary approaches, and synergy between schools, families, and communities need to be strengthened. With a more adaptive and innovative approach, Pancasila Education can remain relevant in shaping globally competitive individuals without losing national identity.
