in other disciplines especially applied Sciences could be adapted and successfully
incorporated in TESL classroom to engage students in much more meaningful learning.
The advantages of using PBL approach are discussed, in particular its positive effects
on language learning, motivation, and the holistic development of TESL students. The
paper concludes with a detailed look at how to incorporate PBL in the TESL classroom.
